What a wonderful person you were. The comfort and happiness you gave to others throughout your seventeen years here on earth, continued and spread far beyond what you ever could have imagined once you left for heaven. We miss you so much everyday and are so proud of you in every way. Until we meet again son, we love you.
It is with both sadness and joy that I write you this letter. I am saddened at the loss of your beloved son. However, I am filled with great joy knowing that he was able to give a little of himself to ensure a better quality of life in someone else.
Hunter was always such a giving person. His desire to be an organ donor was but one example of his selfless attitude toward life. His faith and family really shaped his life he spent much of his time in church. In fact, he did this for the satisfaction in serving.
His death was sudden to us. He will be greatly missed.
It is only due to Hunter’s decision to become an organ donor that I am here today. For that selfless decision that I am forever grateful.
